PRICING STRUCTURE EXPLAINED

Rolvenden Parish Council Host the Rolvenden Rocket Minibus Pilot Scheme on behalf of Ashford Borough Council.

This is a not for profit wellbeing project all Drivers helpers and Staff are Volunteers

However Leasing running costs and general overheads in excess of £4000 per quarter have to be covered in full by Rolvenden Parish Council the Hosts

OUR CURRENT PRICING STRUCTURE .

IT IS TO YOUR GROUPS ADVANTAGE TO SUPPLY YOUR OWN GROUP DRIVER AS THE PREMIUMS BELOW WILL NOT APPLY.

SUPPLYING YOUR OWN GROUP DRIVER: £1.70 per mile, plus a booking fee of £5 per trip. Your driver must comply with Terms and Conditions of the scheme. An Annual Registration Fee of £15 is required per group

. USING A SUPPLIED HOST DRIVER: £1.70 per mille plus a booking fee of £5 per trip. Groups must agree to Terms and Conditions of the scheme. An Annual Registration Fee of £15 is required. Plus A Host Premium of £20 for each Morning 8 - 1300 and Afternoon hire 1300 - 1800, plus £40 for an evening hire 1800- 2300 will be added to all groups invoices. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT DRIVERS and STAFF ARE VOLUNTEERS AND DO NOT GET PAID. ALL MONIES ACCRUED FROM THE PREMIUMS AND MILEAGE CHARGE GO TOWARDS THE RUNNING COSTS AND LEASE OF THE ROCKET MINIBUS.

The Management do not encourage trips after midnight but enquiries for late trips will be accepted on their merit at the sole discretion of the management at extra cost. Eg: we will permit late night/early morning airport/ holiday trips but reserve the right to refuse stag/ hen party’s.

The above premiums may be waived or reduced (at the sole discretion of the management team) for eligable Registered Charities,Education,Welfare and other qualifying groups who ( in the opinion of the management) meet the wellbeing element of The Rolvenden Rocket Pilot Scheme.

A Host driver supplied by Rolvenden Parish Council can if he chooses , by prior written agreement, become affiliated to one specific group as their dedicated driver, whereby the above premium charges will be waived on any trip that he drives for them. The group then effectively takes responsibility for the welfare of their dedicated driver whilst he is engaged in their trip.in the event of the dedicated driver being unavailable to drive for his chosen group a replacement host driver will be supplied and above premiums will be charged as applicable.

A Host Driver can only be dedicated to his/her chosen group and any other group he/she drives for will be charged at the full rates above.
